It is obvious that what we call politics usually is not a science able to demonstrate and verify its statements. I believe that everybody agree to call it as an art, since it depends on the ability of the person who exercises it. That art can be more or less attractive and convincing according to the skill and ability of persuasion of the politician, and the media that is used. Read the rest of this entry »

Historical Manipulation

8 December, 2017

niños.jpg

We are currently witnessing a great debate on historical memory. Left-wingers and nationalists are making great efforts to silence part of the events occurred in the history. They also seek to change, distort and manipulate other facts that seem to benefit their ideology. They only seek to indoctrinate all the population using all means of communication related because finally what TV, radio, newspapers and the politically correct propaganda say is truth. Death Penalty

26 October, 2017

According to the study published by Human Rights Watch and contrary to what protectors of the death penalty assert, the lethal injection, that kills the condemned person to capital punishment, can cause a huge suffering in the final agony. Moreover, the United States and China are leading the ranking of the countries with more death sentences. More than 2,000 prisoners in 22 countries were executed and more than 5,000 people were tried, said the International Amnesty. In the past 25 years, the number of countries that execute criminals to capital punishment has decreased 50 %. Popular Millionaires

26 October, 2017

We see them every day and every hour. Television screens, pages of magazines and newspapers, radio stations and billboards are filled with famous faces and voices. The tempting and millionaire offer leads that the most famous people of the world greet the public from the advertising shop window to give advices on the excellent qualities of the most diverse products.

The Russian tennis player Maria Sharapova has signed an advertising contract with a brand of sneakers that will last until the year 2018 and it will deposit additional 48 million Euros to the percentage on the sales. The Japanese football player Hidetoshi Nakata and the American actors Kellan Lutz and Mehcad Brooks are the image of a global campaign of male underwear. The Formula One World Champion Michael Schumacher will launch a communication campaign for a prestigious brand of cars. Also, the model Cindy Crawford is the new ambassador of an important cosmetic group. A prestigious banking entity will use the image of the pilot signed up by McLaren, Jenson Button to support its promotional actions. The football player of Real Madrid Cristiano Ronaldo will promote the advertising of a brand of male underwear. The American Eva Mendes will present the campaign of a brand of perfumery that American television chains refused to issue its spot by having an erotic scene. The American cyclist Lance Armstrong will deliver an advertising campaign for a brand of beer. Emma Watson is the image of a brand of British fashion.

Maybe some famous people in their public behavior or in their private life may have some negative aspects that the public can associate with the product advertised. A constant search of the money from the advertising only makes us to think that famous people promote themselves, rather than sell the product that they advertise.

Condoms are not the answer

26 October, 2017

Condoms are not of sufficient strength to guarantee that they will not break. A good comparative experiment shows that 60% of condoms do not maintain global standards of safety. It was assured by an investigation conducted in the program “Strengthening consumer organizations of Latin America and the Caribbean in the process of normalization”, released by Consumers International and reaffirmed by the International Research and Testing in UK and the Consumers Union of United States group. THE LEFT HAS NOT FAILED

6 October, 2017

niños.jpg
(Although it seems that after the last elections the Left has suffered a serious setback, it also seems that has not failed in its approaches.)

I have already said before that what really matters is not so much the economic progress of Spain, but the change of mentality in the majority of people, until achieve a complete secularization of life, customs and institutions. It will be ambivalent to be left-winger or right-winger because at the bottom everybody will think the same on fundamental topics.

How do they do? Applying to the letter the principles of the founder of the Italian Communist Party, Antonio Gramsci, who said: We must create a new specific revolutionary strategy to achieve the victory of the left in Western Europe and for this, we must conquer ideologically intellectuals especially through school, it must replace the church.

Intellectuals are considered the most effective disseminators of ideas. The university, teaching, education, art and the media should be made from the left and bearers of changing values in society. It is about to develop a new “common sense” rootless from the Christian tradition.

I mean any argument that deny the existence of God, will be described as “modern”, “progressive” and “democratic”; whereas, the arguments that lead to believe in God and eternal life will be accused of “old”, “reactionary” and “fascists.”

Thus the youth is educated in many public schools and the results are already being noticed. The teaching of religion was suppressed and was replaced by the subject of “Education for Citizenship” that is a set of aberrations. The disobedience and disrespect to the parents, the masturbation and the incitement to sexual intercourse are incited. For this, condoms are distributed in an indiscriminate way and the parties of the weekend, the alcohol and the mockery of all kinds of religion or belief, etc. are incited.

All this, together with the proliferation of magazines and pornographic films, incite constantly to the young people to seek the pleasure in a selfishly and indiscriminate way. The result: many of these young people are as anesthetized and their only aspiration is to work little, earn as much money as possible and have fun.

Then it is time to manipulate these people, drawing them to organize gathering or demonstrations that will be considered product of the popular indignation. And this will be transformed easily into a powerful pressure group led by the left.

Japan and Muslims

15 April, 2017

There are a lot of circumstances given and still giving around terrorist acts we are suffering lately in Europe, including in such circumstances the warped and sectarian reaction from a great part of the left wing, above all in Spain, and about the feeling of guilt they have been able to instill in European society, but I shall confine myself to two of them. Some current forms of totalitarisms

1 July, 2016
11.gif

Today the forms of political and social totalitarianism are shown with camouflage clothing. During the election campaigns is common to make proposals and then they aren’t fulfilled. (I remember a cartoon, a politician who made a proposal in front of his audience, saying the following measure: “create 30.000 seats for childhood education”, at the same time a voice from behind the curtain said “and tell them, also a ham”.

THAT’S THE WAY THINGS ARE

5 March, 2015

There are words that touch us; abortion is certainly one of them. According to Diccionario de la Lengua Española (Official Dictionary of Spain), abortion is the interruption of pregnancy due to spontaneous or induced causes. The first ones are part of the natural dynamics of the human being and there is little we can do to prevent them. The second ones cause mixed reactions and no one can be indifferent to this. Even for the same concept we look for words that reduce the actual or emotional burden that this word causes, I mean the determination to use the term “voluntary interruption of pregnancy.”

DEMOCRACY AND MORAL PRINCIPLES

26 February, 2015

“It is difficult to see how democracy, which is based on the principle of the will of the majority of the citizens, establishes the validity of principles and moral values, without being supported by the convictions of the majority, and without entering or imposing a dogmatism that is essentially strange to democracy as a form of government” (Card. Joseph Ratzinger, Benedict XVI).
